Kasukabe, Japan 2005
At a graduation ceremony in Japan, the illumination of two freshly-shaved heads reflected light throughout the auditorium. In a sea of monotony, the rebel students accomplished the goal of standing out, highlighting the contrast between the conformists and nonconformists. This is one of my personal favorite and most culturally relevant images from my four years of life in Japan.
